Stowaways
If you want a unique view on a classic event, take a real employee and see it through their eyes. That’s the mission of Stowaways, launched at Upfront 2017.
How’d you like an all-expenses paid trip to a glamorous destination where you can sit back, sip drinks and eat bon bons? Us too. That’s not this. However, during this year’s Upfront, we introduced a cool new program for employees that did involve travel. *Restrictions apply. No purchase necessary. Glamorous destination subject to perspective.
Stowaway
a Turner employee who attends a Turner major event, acting like a roving reporter, being Turner employees’ eyes and ears to learn what it takes to put on our company’s biggest events.
Stowaways is a chance for a Turner employee from one division to attend an event from another division. Each stowaway will learn about different brands and roles—up close and personal at key Turner events like Upfronts, CES, TCA or Sundance. In exchange for this chance to step into some different shoes, we’ll put you to work. You’ll share your outsider’s view with the gang back home writing blog posts, interviewing people on camera and posting on social media. You’ll probably do a little schlepping too. Two words people: working trip. Stay tuned for more information on TurnerNow when it’s time to cast for our next event.
Our first stowaway came from Turner Studios in Atlanta where he’s a T-3. Introducing Skylar Graham. He was the eyes and ears of you, the Turner employee, reporting for you from Madison Square Garden during Upfront rehearsals. Check out the Upfront Blog to experience the Upfront through Skylar’s eyes.
